Privacy Policy
Big Hairy Bundles does not collect, store, or sell any personal data from you or your customers outside of Shopify. Our app runs entirely within your Shopify store and relies on Shopify’s built-in data handling.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how the Big Hairy Bundles Shopify app (“the App”) handles information in connection with your Shopify store (“the Store”). The short version is simple: we do not record or store any personal data outside of Shopify.
All data used by the App is accessed via Shopify only when needed to provide the bundle functionality and is not copied to an external database or used for any purpose beyond operating the App.
2. Data we do not collect
Store owner data
We do not separately store your name, email address, billing details, or any other personal information outside of Shopify.
Customer data
We do not store customer names, email addresses, physical addresses, payment information, or order histories in any external system.
Tracking & cookies
The App does not add its own tracking cookies, pixel-based tracking, or analytics scripts to your storefront.
3. How the App uses Shopify data
To function, the App requires certain permissions to read and update data within your Shopify store (for example, to read products and adjust pricing for qualifying bundles). These permissions are granted via Shopify’s standard authorization process.
Any data accessed via these permissions is used only to:
- Display and manage your bundle configurations in the admin.
- Determine when a customer’s cart qualifies for a bundle discount.
- Apply the correct discount or price override when the bundle rules are met.
We do not export this data outside Shopify, and we do not build separate profiles or datasets from it.
4. Third-party services
The App operates entirely within the Shopify ecosystem. We do not send store or customer data to any third-party services for analytics, advertising, or marketing purposes.
Your relationship with Shopify is governed by Shopify’s own terms of service and privacy policy. Any personal data shared with Shopify is handled in accordance with their policies, independent of this App.
5. Data storage & retention
The App does not maintain its own external database of merchant or customer personal information. Configuration data that you create (for example, bundle definitions and rules) is stored only as needed to operate the App and remains associated with your Shopify store.
When you uninstall the App, we stop accessing your store. Bundle functionality and associated configuration data within Shopify will no longer be used by the App.
6. Your rights & contact
Because we do not store personal data outside of Shopify, any requests to access, correct, or delete personal data should be directed to Shopify or handled via your own obligations as a store owner (for example, responding to customer data requests).

7. Changes to this policy
